Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard.

Earl Green

Coach Green finished his professional baseball career in the Midwest Leagues with the Iowa Cubs. He played collegiate baseball at Meramec Community College and William Penn University, as a draft and watch. While at William Penn University, he led the team in hitting, and on-base percentage. In high school, at Hazelwood Central in St. Louis, Missouri, he was the recipient of the Hawk Award and currently holds the record for career home runs, batting averages, stolen bases, and plate appearances.

In 2006-2007, his team placed 9th out of 100 teams in the USSSA AAA World Series against some of the nation’s top talent.

In 2018 he had the opportunity to be the head coach of the USA International team who competed against Japan and England.

In 2022 his 12u team took 3rd place at the USSSA World Series at the Space Coast Complex in Melbourne Florida and followed it up as 13u in 2023 finishing 11th out of 44 teams in the PBR 13u National Championship competing against some of the top ranked teams in the country.

In 2023 he was selected as the head coach for Team Missouri at the USSSA All-State games in Dallas, TX.

He has had 6 players sign professional contracts.

His goals are to advance his player’s gift in the game of baseball and help them improve each time they set foot on a field or step in a practice facility.

As of 2015 he has a 95% Senior to Scholarship placement ratio and is passionate about learning something new every day about each player, working hard to ensure that each player has the opportunity to grow as a ball player and to advance to the next level.

Most importantly, he works side-by-side with each player helping them grow as a young man.”Never let good enough be enough, You have to play this game with a purpose.”
